Antonio-Science
1st Eso: We did a vertebrae animal activity where students were given a picture of a specific animal and using vocabulary that was previously introduced (extremities, size, color, mammal, fish, etc.) had to write a description of their animal and then read that description to the class. The other students then had to guess what animal the student was describing.

2nd Eso: Antonio did an introduction on reproduction. I sat near the back of the class and listened to him give the introduction recording any mistakes he made while speaking. I then observed and helped the students complete an activity on asexual reproduction.

One v. One with Antonio (OvO: this is where I have my one hour meeting with the particular teacher and we talk about ways to integrate English into the classroom and I help with lesson planning and other class activities)

We went over the notes I took in class and worked specifically on the pronunciation of words he had struggled with during the reproduction introduction. We then went through the reproduction unit worksheet working on the pronunciation of other words that will be talked about in the unit and any other corrections that I spotted.

Ana-English Class
Today I gave an hour lesson on the American holiday Thanksgiving. I first had the students read a short summary about the history of Thanksgiving and we then discussed it. We looked at new vocabulary words in the reading and I made sure the students had a firm understanding of why we celebrate the holiday.

We then watched "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving." I feel this video proved to be too high a English level for the students and I will have to redo this lesson when I have the second half of the group next week.
